    POST ACTION REPORT

    FREEDOM UNITY CONFERENCE # 1 HELD 10/25/08

    Written By Walt Myers

    CONFERENCE PURPOSES

Identify where America is, where it should go, and how can we best help get it there.

    PARTICIPANTS

Dr. Greg Dixon; Mr. Richard Abraham; Jim Cabaniss, Mr. Jim Condit;  Sen. Don Rogers;  Dr. Daneen Peterson; Mr. Bob Soloman; Larry Becraft, Michael LeMieux; Walter Myers; Jim Stach and others.

    BASIC AGREEMENTS

All agreed America has a problem; the solution can only come through a team effort; a failure to plan is a plan to fail; the Constitutionalist movement’s lack of success is partially due to its never having rallied around a comprehensive action plan; conference participants are willing to help develop or ‘tweak’ a plan and to implement it; the plan must provide a way for individuals and organizations to unite in spirit and on actions of mutual interest without impairing any ones ability to pursue their special interests; a problem cannot be solved by only addressing its symptoms and time is of the essence.

POLITICAL ACTION COORDINATING CONFERENCE (PACC) the conversation followed the guidelines of a PACC which can be found on page 187 of the book To Tame a Tyrant or at www.thecnc.org/PACCs.htm

Following ‘check in,’ welcoming remarks by Mr. LeMieux and an invocation by Dr. Greg Dixon, the following questions were discussed.

      * Where are we as a movement?  It was agreed the Constitutionalist movement is and always has been fragmented due to its failure to have a plan permitting unity of spirit and action on issues of mutual interest while assuring those supporting it retain their freedom to pursue their special interests.

    * Where do we want to go (goal)?  It was agreed the pledge “to restore to the States and the people the prerogatives and freedoms guaranteed them under the Constitution” made by thirty Republican governors on 11/22/94 is an acceptable goal.

    * How can we best satisfy the goal?  It was agreed that Constitutionalists have but five peaceful boxes with which to solve our problem and that to effectively and efficiently use them; they must develop or adopt and jointly implement a comprehensive written plan.

    * What should the plan cover?   The plan should begin by defining what the participants agreed constitutes a Foundations of Unity. These are a set of core beliefs; an accurate statement of the problem and a clear goal.  It was agreed the description of these items as presented on page 93 of the book To Tame a Tyrant and on the CNC web site ( www.thecnc.org/TeamWork.htm ) are satisfactory pending further study.

Highly important objectives found to lie on our goal’s critical path follow below. Names following an objective are those thought to be likely candidates for assuming responsibility for forming an Objective Pursuit Team (OPT) for the identified issue (or who are hoped will do so) or who have already agreed to do so. OPTs are responsible for providing and guiding the implementation of a plan under which to pursue the objective and for keeping all who are supporting the overall plan informed of their progress and the help they need. Where there is no name, there is a need. Anyone reading this PAR who has the expertise and incentive to help on the issue is urged to contact michael.lemieux@us.army.mil or at author@constitutiondenied.com.
