Many people ask “What can we do?”  The answer is “Get involved!” “Take Action!” Here’s a good place to start:

Aaron Bolinger, RTR Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator, Legislative Director for Restore the Republic and also the Legislative Director the National Veterans Committee on Constitutional Affairs, hosts a regular Tuesday night teleconference.

This conference is open to activists throughout the United States.

The Mid-Atlantic states have been getting well organized, communicating with and educating their legislators - helping to fight Real ID and other matters important to all of us, fighting to restore the constitution. What’s happening in your area?

Aaron Bolinger has been involved as an activist lobbyist for a number of years. He knows his stuff.  He will help you understand the people who make our laws and guide you through communicating with them on a one-on-one level.  He’ll also tell you how to get legislation passed, stopped or changed. Conversing with you from his East-Coast farm, his conversation is very down-home yet professional, and not without a touch of humor.

Sign up today, and we will keep you informed of events and send a friendly reminder each week of the upcoming Tuesday night broadcast.

I’ve been trying for 2 months now to get someone to answer my
question. For those that are not voting Dem or Repub we want
our vote to possibly put someone in office who can save America. Right now their are 3 to 5 people running who are not Repub or Dem. Is anyone pulling all of us together to vote for one person? If all of us independents spread our votes out over 3 to 5 candidates we of course will lose. If we can get someone or some organization to pull us together and VOTE FOR ONLY ONE INDEPENDENT PERSON we have a chance.
Anybody know it this is happening? Are all of us non Dems and
Repubs gonna be sheeple also. Don’t we have enough brains
among us all to get together or are we just gonna run around shouting “Down with the whatevers” I myself am going to write in Ron Paul. Any ideas anybody?

    Carl,
I’ve been wondering the same thing. It seems like there are plenty of Americans who are sick of the whole two party system, who want to get rid of the corrupt administration, and restore the republic. I have every intention of writing in Ron Paul but would throw my support behind Chuck Baldwin if Paul endorsed him. Everyone has to pull together.

Carl, I believe that there is a movement gearing up to do abasentee ballots for Dr. Ron Paul, even though he has stepped down from the race. If people want to effectively vote for someone else, they should do absentee ballots, because they HAVE TO BE COUNTED BY LAW. Write-in votes can be ignored, for some reason, by the powers-that-be. The only other alternatives are: Congressman Bob Barr, nominated by the Libertarian Party; Chuck Baldwin, the Constitutional Party canidate, and Cynthia McKinney, the Green Party candidate. The trick is how do you convince people to vote for only one of the alternatives?

    ****SPECIAL COMMENTARY******
Well, it seems that the party is over. The illusion of wealth that was created by the Fed’s increase in the money supply is about to come crashing down. It has already started. The increase in the money supply, as it turns out, was responsible for the stock market and real estate bubbles, issues that Dr. Paul has been talking about long before his presidential bid. This also accounts for skyrocketing tuition costs. Because loans were so easily available to students and parents, there was no incentive for the nation’s universities and colleges to scale their tuition costs to the market.
To make matters worse, the government had been lying about the economic condition for years. It fudged the numbers to hide the severity of inflation by not including certain items in the consumer price index, and the discontinuation of the M3 report on the money supply. The problem was exaggerated by the myriad of financial planners, well-meaning or just plain greedy, who kept an uninformed public that capital appreciation [in stocks] was the same thing as income, and home equity [in real estate] is the same as ’savings’. This illustrates how grossly ignorant the average American citizen is about sound economics from the Austrian school. The hosts of financial shows on such networks like CNBC, FOX, & MSNBC were also complicit in this mass deception. They were getting their information on the economy from the same government that had been lying to us.
The public, however, was not without blame. Many who went crazy with home equity loans did not borrow responsively. Perhaps it would have been different if people borrowed money to put into viable income-producing investments: i.e., stocks that were unglamorous but had a track record of paying consistent dividends. However, many people borrowed to take part in mindless consumerism: plasma screen TV’s and the like. They felt that the stock market would always go up, or that they could always refinace, or flip their houses every two or three years. They got carried away - thinking they, too, could be like Donald Trump.
One thing is for certain. This attempted bailout by the Fed, if it goes through, will only put off the inevitable, and the coming crash will only be that much more severe because of it. So, what can people do right now to protect the purchasing power of their retirement saving?
GO RIGHT NOW TO YOUR NEAREST BOOKSTORE.
Pick up a copy of “Crash Proof: How to Profit from the Coming Economic Collapse” by Peter D. Schiff [price $27.95 in most places]
In the book, Schiff gives the average reader an easy-to-understand lesson in sound economics, the evolution of the Fed, and the misconception Wall Street uses to market mutual funds. Most important, the book makes the case that people who want to protect their money should revamp their portfolios to GET OUT OF THE U.S. DOLLAR. They should shift their money into foreign securities that are insulated from the U.S. economy, in that they make their profits in their native currencies and have paid a consistent dividend. He also makes the case for people to move into gold.
Even today, many financial planners and so-called ‘experts’ are still giving out the same faulty conventional wisdom. Do yourself a favor and get “Crash Proof” today!

I will make this as short as possible and to the point. After reading all the
political posts I would like to offer a thought or two and a suggestion. The current administration as we all know consists mostly of criminals, scum and politicians who care nothing about the Amerikan people. They are to busy
stuffing their pockets with under the table money and graft They ARE the reason Amerika is on the brink of bankruptcy both financially and morally today. So if you think today’s congresspeople or any of the future Republicans OR Democrats are going to FIX AMERIKA you are wrong.

You can talk about all the financial disasters you want but nothing compares to the biggest theft and criminal act in the history of the world. Also it has not been mentioned on the Main Stream Media(MSM) at all because most
MSM is controlled by BIG government & business. MSM spoon feeds Amerika the drivel that gov and biz wants us to know and nothing more. What I’m talking about is the $10,000,000,000,000.00, yes you read right $10 trillion
dollars that is missing from the GAO (Government Accountability Office) Investigative arm of Congress charged with examining matters relating to the receipt and payment of public funds. MSM WILL NOT BE TELLING YOU
ABOUT THIS BECAUSE THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION HAS SAID NOT TOO!!! But you can find info on it on the internet, the gov doesn’t control the internet ………………….YET

There is $10 trillion dollars MISSING FROM THE U S GOVERNMENTS BUDGET MONEY. No one knows where the money went. All they know is $10 trillion dollars is missing and they haven’t got a clue where it went. If you think this is a lot of stupid un-verifiable bullsh*t do your research it’s TRUE!!! By the way guess what they did about the missing $10 trillion? Are you sitting down? …………
The GAO simply wrote it off the books
$10 TRILLION JUST WRITTEN OFF !!!!! NO EXPLANATION JUST A
SHRUG OF THE SHOULDERS AND WRITE IT OFF!!!!

You will get more of the same by voting Dem or Repub

If you really want to take the first necessary step to saving Amerika and believe you me we need saving NOW! then you will do a write in vote for Ron Paul for President. He unlike Obama OR McCain DOES HAVE A PLAN TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY. I’m of course not asking you to go off willy nilly and believe me, do some research on the GAO’s missing $10 trillion and Ron Paul and do what you think is best

IMO this is financial terrorism at it’s finest. Our Congress Critters and the unelected Wall Street bankers are trying to sign us all up, without our explicit approval, for nation destroying amounts of debt. With their plan we will be forced to save the current system even though the core of that system is rotten. We’ve read enough of what Ron Paul says to know that there could be another way. All this “we must save the system now” hysteria could be nothing more than a bunch of crap to cram the bailout of their rich buddies down our throats before anyone has a chance to properly access the real situation. As long as criminals run this country, the rape will continue, so just maybe it’s time that our current system be allowed to go tilt and rebuild with a more level playing field going forward. Here’s a thought provoking article I just finished reading that quotes Roubini and uses history to suggest some other potential solutions.

Proposals for reforming the banking system are not even on the radar screen of Prime Time politics today; but the current system is collapsing at train-wreck speed, and the “change” called for in Washington may soon be taking a direction undreamt of a few years ago. We need to stop funding the culprits who brought us this debacle at our expense. We need a public banking system that makes a cost-effective credit mechanism available for homeowners, manufacturing, renewable energy, and infrastructure; and the first step to making it cost-effective is to strip out the swarms of gamblers, fraudsters and profiteers now gaming the system

Just a question ….. Will any of these exemplary CEOs and their minions who have run these business’ into the ground be sacked, escape with a Golden Parachute or outright keep their jobs ?

Before bailing these companies out, the failures that run them need to be gone.

Billsboomer you just hit the nail on the head. Couldn’t have said it better myself

Frostbitmic …. You bet the “exemplary CEOs” are gone and they took hundreds of millions of dollars with them and you and I get to pay the bill. This you can thank their buddies Paulson, Bernanke and Bush for. And don’t think for a minute that those 3 boys haven’t raked in big bucks while this is goin on. If you do any research you will find that your average Amerikan tax payer is paying for
ALL of these bailouts while the rich investors and all your congressmen will be reimbursed. That my friend is why it will continue til Joe Blow tax payer stands up ALL TOGETHER AND SAYS STOP WE’VE HAD ENOUGH. And just how can you do that??? Really simple just write in Ron Pauls name on your presidential voting ballot

this is like kids throwing rocks at a tank.
how exactly are we gonna win this while most of the america despite the crisis is still chasing after the latest TV model and cheapest hamburger?
and how many people red those stupid books about how to get rich quick?
whoever mentioned the book about profiting from economic collapse should think about who are you fighting against?
arent the people that already making profit on any kind of instability or finding loopholes the ones you fighting against? but at the same time advertising the book that tells the rest of us how to become one them. WTF?

i so have given up on legislative action. to think we need to educate them on facts they are so well informed on and signed onto thinking they will not be part of the demonic plan to cull down our populus around the world is foolish for them and people who think contacting their legislators will do any good at this point.
we are right back to where this country began, ridding ourselves of the empire who snuck in during the 1800’s like a snake in the grass just waiting for her moment to pounce.

Agree, my plan also is to write in Ron Paul….the only man with the wisdom, knowledge, experience, integrity and morality to lead this nation to the next level. He is an economnic guru that has been making too much sense all along that the front runners now puppet Ron Pauls concepts and principals and try to say they are their ideas.

campaign for liberty, restore the republic

I think you have an excellent point. I kind of wondered the same thing, especially after Paul came out and asked us to vote for an independent candidate. I used to be a Democrat but am not affiliating with parties anymore. I’m also writing in Ron Paul and wish that he were encouraging us to do so so that there would be more unity.

I am definitely writing in Ron Paul. My husband says that I will be wasting my vote if I do. I myself believe in voting your conscience not for who you believe will win. Unfortunately socialist team JoBama will probably win though. God help the U.S. of A.

I don’t think there is such an organized group, but if I could write in Ron Paul I will, otherwise I am voting Ralph Nader or Chuck Baldwin. That would be a good idea though, because then they can’t hide the fact that they tamper with the machines.

Voting 3rd Party may be our only hope of re-establishing a government of the People.

There is Chuck Baldwin endorsed by Ron Paul (my choice of the moment). There is Cynthia McKinney, an experienced Congresswoman unafraid of speaking her mind or asking questions, a woman of color that accepted the Presidential nomination of the Green Party (check out http://www.gp.org/tenkey.shtml) another great candidate, I’m a member of the Green Party but I feel Chuck Baldwin would make a better president having embraced Ron Paul’s ideology on economy and foreign affairs.

Our current system of government is a 50 year old one party system that mascarades as two parties. VOTING THIRD PARTY WILL HELP US RESTORE A TWO PARTY SYSTEM! Both the Constitution Party and the Green Party REJECT corporate contributions - I feel both these parties are safe from the influence of international corporations and safe from those who desire to see the destruction of American economy and sovereignty. The Constitution Party supports the Constitution and the Green Party supports the environment. It’s a win-win choice.

DON’T GIVE UP VOTE THIRD PARTY!!!
