A small number of people using this site (RestoreTheRepublic.COM) have received a virus - a "trojan horse" that delivers packages to your computer that, in turn, send information to different Web sites, mostly in Russia. Using various top-line virus discovery programs, we have not been able to detect a source, on our site, for this virus.

Apparently, a trigger is somehow enacted, but the trigger itself is not necessarily on the selection you make. What that means is that we have not found a way to isolate the means by which those users have received the virus.

Particularly vulnerable are IE 6 (or lower) users who have not kept up with Microsoft Security Patches.
